The most interesting thing about the Redmi 13 is that this is the first phone in the series that features a massive 108-megapixel camera. Redmi also confirmed that its Redmi 13 camera uses Samsung’s ISOCELL HM6 sensor (1/1.67-inch, 3x in-sensor zoom, 9-in-1 pixel binning technology).
The dual camera setup is completed with an underwhelming 2-megapixel macro camera. On the bright side, Redmi 13 has a better 13-megapixel selfie snapper, as opposed to Redmi 12’s 8-megapixel secondary camera.
As expected, Xiaomi decided to go with a MediaTek chipset, so the Redmi 13 is equipped with a Helio G91 processor, which isn’t the worst, but not great either. The MediaTek chipset is complemented by 6/128GB,8/128GB, or 8/256GB memory (expandable up to 1TB via microSD).
Another selling point of the Redmi 13 is probably going to be the massive 6.79-inch LCD display with FHD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. Surprisingly, Xiaomi revealed that this features Corning Gorilla Glass protection and DC dimming.

Furthermore, Redmi 13 is powered by a 5030 mAh battery with 33W fast charging. According to Xiaomi, the phone’s battery should offer up to 23 hours of calling or 28 hours of music after just one hour of charging. Additionally, with just five minutes of charging, users can experience two hours of calling.
Other highlights of the Redmi 13 include 3.5mm audio jack, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, flash notifications via a rear LED light for alarms and incoming calls, as well as HyperOS.
As far as price goes, the Redmi 13 is available for as low as $180. Customers can choose between four different colors: Midnight Black, Ocean Blue, Sandy Gold, and Pearl Pink.
